Celebration

Today we celebrated Olivia's birthday early with a party in the park. Since heavy rain was predicted, we moved the location to under a set of arches in the park in our neighborhood. I'm glad we changed location to under the shelter because it poured in the morning and was still raining at the start of the party.

The purple blur below is Olivia during a game of Chinese jump rope.

The girls played a few party games.

The little brothers played soccer with Eric and had some balloons and Hot Wheels to keep them busy. Freddy is in the blue shirt.

Eric lit the birthday candles.

 Everyone seemed to like the cake.

By the end of the party, the rain stopped, but it did get chilly under the stone arches. You can see in the background of the photo below a bride and groom getting their wedding pictures taken.

A good time was had by all.
