Fire

We went on a field trip with some friends to learn about fire safety. Here's Olivia trying to turn the valves on the fire engine to pump water. She's wearing a gray sweatshirt and her hair is in a bun.

And here she is feeling the door to see if it's warm before opening it. We learned to touch the door with the back of your hand to avoid burning your palm. The palm of your hand is more useful when escaping a building, so you want to protect it.

And here she is again, demonstrating how to crawl through smoke, feeling along the wall, to door or window.
